Curated by Mr. Anjani Kumar Singh, Director General of the Bihar Museum, and inaugurated by Padma Shri awardees Baua Devi and Dulari Devi, The Way Home presents over twenty sculptures and a selection of paintings by Gupta, spanning from 2003 to 2024. Known for transforming everyday Indian household objects—such as utensils, milk pails, tiffins, and even motorcycles—into powerful artistic statements, Gupta’s work captures India’s evolving socio-economic landscape. His unique approach interweaves Indian traditions with a global modern art aesthetic, creating visually arresting pieces that resonate deeply with both Indian and international audiences.
